    Default Portugal. The Man's Oscar Pre-Party at The Avalon

    Portugal. The Man put on an amazing set last year at Coachella and have continued to put on some high energy shows. They are going to be playing the Global Green Oscar Pre-party at the Avalon on February 23rd with Best Coast. Tickets are $35-$55 for general admission though the Global Green website.

    it's pricey at $55 but a simple google search found discount code "portugal" that will knock it down to $35 which is still pricey, but more doable.

    just bought tickets... I'm such a sucker for Portugal. The Man

    no, it being put on by a green charity that is running with the name to get some attention from celebrities. Jim Carrey is one of the board members and they apparently get some actors to show up and hang out. Other then that it's just going to concert on a week night.

    Im always down to meet a fellow PTM fan, I'm gonna try and grab some drinks at Dillions before the show ($3 pints all day every day) if you want to meet up.

    It is a pretty cool event. I am not sure how long each band will be playing but everyone donates their time for the event and the money goes to a good cause.

    Set time for Portugal The Man approx 10:40. Doors are at 8:30, They will be on inbetween Best Coast and BRMC.

    Tickets on sale for a another 3 hours
