Default Writer Looking for Coachella Kids and Their Parents

Accidentally put this in the Music Lounge. Should be here.

A friend of mine put out this plea:

Coachella Kids?: We're looking for kids (real ones, not you!) that have grown up with the festival; parents who've brought their young ones to Coachella from the start and still bring them now... email Rich Thomas at richtextformat@gmail.com [Not on FB, please]

Could be a interesting read and i know there are a few of you out there. Pretty sure this will be in Urb or something like the Camp magazine from last year.

We brought our kids through all four years of high school, starting at age 15 (it was their "birthday party" every year). But that wouldn't exactly make them little ones.

momof5 would probably make a really good candidate for this. I don't think she's missed a single Coachella and she may have brought her kids to every one, too.

Izzy has only gone one year for about 2 hours. Does that count?

It's actually a good story to tell though, but I'll leave you at that.

Please post photo of rave baby. It really made me smile.
    Whiskey Sour

    2 oz blended whiskey
    Juice of 1/2 lemon
    1/2 tsp powdered sugar
    1 cherry
    1/2 slice lemon

Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.

My kids were "Coachella Eligible" at age 13.So far all of them have accompanied me at one or more Coachellas. But only my oldest daughter has been to everyone with me and she is now 35! So that would not count. my 20 year olddaughter has been to 5 and my 18 year old son has been to 3 and this will be his 4th. My 20 year old waited on the fence too long this year and doesn't have a ticket.
Let me say I am honored by the boardies who thought of me!

Wish I could help- my six year old has been to Lolla since 2006 and ACL the past 2 years and my 2 year old has been to one of each. We're not from Cali so Coachella really isn't as feasible. Good luck with the article, fully support exposing children to good music.

bump. Writer contacted me and is looking for a few more families to flesh out his article. He is hip to this thread's existence. If any of you are interested in helping him, i'll let him know you posted here (or just contact him at the email in the first post).
