It's crap like this that pisses me off, talking out of both sides of your mouth. One side "let's do everything we can to prevent scalpers from getting tickets". On the other side, "hey everyone, I'm willing to give you a $300 face value ticket for Coachella if you do all the work and hook me up with a ticket". And then posting that in a NEW THREAD on the Coachella message board???, which does nothing except raise awareness of not only the show, but that a secondary market really does exist. It pretty much says "Let's start the bidding at $500 (current value of Coachella pass).
For this reason, they really should have made it a ONE (1) ticket maximum. If this show is really important to someone, then people should have to do the work themselves.
I know plenty of people who like Arcade Fire, but not to the point where they would drop everything to get a ticket. That's why if I'm lucky enough to get a +1, it isn't going to be for my best friend, wife, one of my kids, or someone willing to pay big $$$. It's going to be for another fan who still went through all the same efforts, but may not have been lucky.
