...the filtered water program. Is it no more?

Yes, I believe it has been confirmed that the water program will definitely not be back. It's too bad. I honestly think it's one of the best ideas the festival ever implemented.
Does anybody know why? I loved the WP,was it possibly too messy?
they will make more money just selling water bottles, that's why.

Seriously? The water program is one of the few things that went off without a hitch last year. But one of the only tasks volunteers are qualified to do, really.

Well, trying to look on the bright side, at least they're still doing the 10 empties for a full bottle of water program. If they axed both of those, that would be so much worse.

I heard the bottles they gave for the program leaked. Was this widespread or just rare cases?
Yup, leaked massively. I ended up just throwing mine out during the first day; I heard the same happened for a lot of other people as well.
I really hope this isn't true. The filtered water program was one of the best things to happen at the fest that wasn't music-related these past two years. If it isn't, I would really appreciate knowing why it's not happening.
The no volunteers makes the most sense...because that's all who was working/manning those stations the last two years. Oh well though, the water was warm anyway.
Mine also leaked. Pretty sure they leaked BPA's too.
There's already a thread covering this topic, btw.

They need to bring back the 2009 bottles and the program. I loved it!
