Hey guys,

So I started this blog that is 100% about Coachella [mainly this years festival] in an effort to get my juices flowing beyond belief. I gathered a list of 25 tips on how to make it an awesome experience.

Are you a music festival newbie? Not quite sure how to fully prepare yourself? Enclosed below are some helpful hints, taking from both myself as well as others. I trekked the Austin City Limits festival in Austin in '06 so these tips aren't exclusive to Coachella, but they translate pretty well considering TX in mid-September is just as hot to bear as SoCal in mid-April. A lot of this information was gathered around the net from Coachella heads.

Look I said I gathered the info from mostly elsewhere, didn't know it would be looked at such a bad thing. If I were a first timer I'd like the information handily available and cleanly typed so I didn't have to sort through douchey elitist comments to get to the information I want.

Anyways, the blog is mostly for myself but if I can help out other people then thats great too. This board has been a good source of info.

this dude's blog is almost word for word the same advice in C DUB YA's thread. I'm all for the "how to" threads, they really saved my ass for my first Coachella, but if you are gonna make a new one, bring some new tips.

I wear converse every day of the festival every year and my feet are fine well past "the second band's set on Friday." All weekend long, in fact.
