    Cool Flying in LAX and car camping

    Ok, so yes, I'm a newbie and maybe I'm over thinking this. We are flying into LAX late Thursday night and are car camping. We have a rental vehicle set, but should we make a stop at a Wal-Mart and buy blankets/food/etc... or should I just check baggage/sleeping bags so we can go straight to the campgrounds?

    Anyone been through this predicament before? Any thoughts or friendly advice?

    I'm confused as to buying blankets vs checking sleeping bags ...

    What time are you getting into LA? Campground check-in closes at 2 am Friday morning this year. Is that what you are worried about?
