Relax. I think they should have a later slot because they have a larger following than a few of the bands listed above them, to me an early day slot does not seem to fit. I liked the video and thought i would share it, it in no way was intended to be "logical proof" of anything.

Well, this thread isn't the place to post videos that you like. There are plenty of other places to do that. We're trying to accurately predict a probable schedule here. So no one is going to take your suggestion seriously unless you include some sort of logical reasoning. Who do they have a larger following than?

    8/16: Anthony Naples, Maxmillion Dunbar @ f8
8/18: Man Man @ The Chapel
    8/23-8/24: FYF Fest
8/30: Peaking Lights @ The Chapel
9/3: Bear in Heaven @ The Independent
    9/24 - 28: Decibel Festival
10/5: The War on Drugs, Cass McCombs @ The Fillmore
    10/18-19: Treasure Island Music Festival

Delta Spirit, Yelle, Fat Freddy's Drop, Electric Touch. Although I could see Yelle getting a later slot. http://www.billboard.com/#/artist/fo...history/815865

What is the deal with the Sahara? I can't really see how all of the suggestions about artists (Empire of the Sun, Daedelus, Scissor Sisters) not being in the sahara could possibly be true, even though I think that they should be. Even if we just remove Scissor Sisters (I definitely don't see them in the Sahara) and leave Daedelus, how do you guys think they would fill up the day with 10 slots?

I also think the twelves will be after joachim garraud but I don't really have any reasoning besides gut feeling. Totally wish they would play after chuckie too but I doubt that's likely. Other than that I think the order is right although I could see Fedde Le Grand > Shpongle instead.

Foals will be a daytime mojave/gobi act. Anyone who says otherwise is silly.

This had to have been the hardest night to schedule...

I hope the Felice Brothers don't play at 12 on the mainstage (they very well might) for the sheer fact that I don't want to get to the festival that early...2 - 245 in a tent would be awesome, but that's ONLY MY wishful thinking, not a suggestion. I saw them at The Troubadour and it was such a blast..with that in mind, the Gobi would be great for them as they thrive in the smaller setting.

I feel like such an asshole, because I realize these are fake set time predictions and you did a good job clumsy...but I have a couple questions and concerns.

I know a lot of people here have an extreme disdain for Mumford & Sons, but I like them...that being said, I really feel like having them billed on the second line is fucking the scheduling up...they really don't deserve to be there yet...i dunno, but...

Using this fake as proof...there is no way to avoid insane conflicts on saturday night. It's putting the hell in Coachella (lame I know). It seems like inevitable conflicts between any number of acts could potentially put a great weight on me on Saturday night. Arcade Fire v Sude or Empire or Van Dyk. Mumford vs Animal Collective vs. Fedde. Scissor Sisters v Broken Social Scene v Shongle and throw the Tallest Man in there...ARRGH!

You may call me a dreamer (or whatever harsher name you may think of) but I wish a couple of these names were switched with some of the bands on sunday. FUCK! Sigh.

I agree with Elbow on the mainstage. And as much as I would like to see Mumford & Sons on main stage before AF, I have a feeling either they or Animal Collective will be closing the Outdoor.
    Friday: KOL/Black Keys/Lauryn Hill/Brandon Flowers/Cold War Kids/Sleigh Bells/Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears

    Saturday: Arcade Fire/Mumford & Sons/Scissor Sisters/Cage The Elephant/Two Door Cinema Club/Freelance Whales

    Sunday: Kanye/Strokes/Duran Duran/The National/Jimmy Eat World/Neon Trees/Plan B

i also agree with Elbow on the main.
AC is most definitely playing the Main Stage.
I think the next update is going to be
Bright Eyes > AC > AF with Mumford on the Outdoor b/t AC and AF

There is no freaking way Andy C plays before Hype or Marky. Hype and Marky are good but Andy C is a legend.

Clumsy, something about your current update looks all wrong. I really don't think The Kills will be in a tent again, and no way Gogol Bordello play that late again in the mojave. And Erykah Badu that early in the mojave? Basically, the mojave looks fucked up.

DEFINITELY need to remove Scissor Sisters from the Sahara.

On top of that I could see them giving Paul Van Dyk at least a 1.5 hour set if not 2 hours. He played 1.5 hours in 2007. Trance god that he is, it would be appropriate. Steve Angello could also be given a longer set, though that is less likely.

Also Erykah Badu needs to be moved to either Outdoor Theatre or Main Stage, and Two Door Cinema Club will probably be in one of the tents (Gobi or Mojave) rather than outdoor theate. IMO.

There's no way Suede will be that early... at least I hope not.

Elbow -> BSS -> Suede -> Big Audio Dynamite closing on the Outdoor Theatre.

Edit: If this winds up even remotely being the case you'll all know where to find me for 6 straight hours.

Zack, either Mumford and Sons or Bright Eyes will be in that mix somewhere. Most like Mumford and Sons. Also, Empire of the Sun will be closing the outdoor.

yeah, i know. sorry about that.
when I added the PF stage I didn't realize that I had fucked around with everything earlier. No way The Kills close the Mojave.
As a matter of fact, I wanted to use your mock-up with them on the Outdoor.
    I'll update shit accordingly soon.

Haha, ok awesome. I will see if I can come up with mock mojave soon. To me, no one really stands out as a mojave closer on Saturday though...

EDIT: I changed my mind. Scissor Sisters. Scissor Sisters will close the mojave on Saturday. It just makes too much sense. Now... what to do with Erykah Badu.

I would love for the Main Stage to go exactly as the current template says from 6 pm forward. Two must-sees, one very-much-want-to-see, and one certainly-wouldn't-mind-seeing-again. So of course it will look nothing like that, save Arcade Fire. I can't have nice things.
    My name is Becca. Hi.
