I agree with your take, but it makes more sense thematically to switch PVD and Angello (I take it you meant to say Angello, not Axwell), especially if Shpongle is closing.

And is the Shpongle set for sure not gonna be a DJ set?

no clue and don't care. their sounds and fan base are so drastically different, i would think GV would book AC on the outdoor and let Mumford open for AF. but logic has no place here, so carry on.

Oh yeah, I meant Angello. The Shpongle set is yes a DJ set, but it is the Shpongletron Experience. Which has a fancy structure. And lights. And stuff.

Their sounds are definitely way different, but I always figured they had a pretty similar fanbase. Maybe I'm mistaken. Regardless, yeah, bottom line is that they'll be opening for Arcade unless someone gets added either above or directly below AF.

Also feeling Elbow on the mainstage like around where Mariachi El Bronx is at.
I'm not even going to speculate on the accuracy but your Animal Collective, Bright Eyes, M&S, and GB predictions would make me wet, looking at clumsy's made me a sad panda

I do believe Yelle will probably play at night, in the gobi I agree but I think you've got her on too early.

I can't see Mumford playing the outdoor....they're just too big for it. Bright Eyes would make more sense

So MGMT, Phoenix, and Thom Yorke weren't too big for the Outdoor?

I didn't see Thom Yorke but yeah the MGMT and Phoenix crowds were way too big. they should've played mainstage.

I'm not talking about the size of their crowd, I'm just saying that if they can be billed to play the Outdoor then Mumford And Sons can as well.

Saturday desperately needs an update. I think there is lots here for you to work with. As for Sunday... leave it be for a while. For now, focus on Saturday and Friday.

I dont necessarily means they will be playing at 4. They probably just put 4pm as an arbitrary time because they know they wont be playing at night.

it's not perfect, of course.. but it's better than the previous one.

    - I don't know about Suede closing the Mojave, but I could see them in the Mojave at night as opposed to an earlier outdoor set.
    - I think BSS and BAD are kind of interchangeable.
    - there's a Gogol/ODAAL conflict.. which I doubt will happen, so that needs to change. (i still think Gogol should go back to the Mojave)
    - Stuck Tallest Man on the outdoor.
    - I didn't mess with the Sahara (tho I'd still wager Scissor Sisters find their way in there unless there are Sahara adds)
    - Didn't mess with the Gobi much..
    - Put Cage the Elephant on the Main..
    - Jenny and Johnny on the Main?
    - Put Radio Dept earlier in the Mojave and Foals later in the Gobi?
    - I realize I still have Trampled by Turtles/Felice Bros conflict. We can stick Turtles later in the Gobi.

I dunno. What do you think?

EDIT: wouldn't it make sense to have Wire close the Mojave?

I can't see Suede in Mojave. More like outdoor theater. Maybe switch them with the Kills
I could see Wire closing mojave or at least playing later
The tallest man has to be mid day mojave or late gobi
    Maybe switch Daedlus with Chuckie

BAD closing the mojave seems to make the most amount of sense to me.

Wire and The Tallest Man On Earth are perfect where they are. I do, however, doubt there will be a Wire/Gogol conflict. Also, as much as I want Gogol back in the mojave, I highly doubt that is going to happen.

Mariachi El Bronx closing the gobi is completely ridiculous. They will be a daytime act for sure. First or 2nd band in the mojave makes the most sense to me.

Radio Dept. and Foals are fine where they are. If anything, make the Radio Dept. close the Gobi. I imagine Foals will be in Yeasayers spot from last year.

Just to nitpick, no way Arcade Fire are scheduled to start ANY later than 11:00pm.

I think 11:15 gives them ample time. but since you bring it up..
its more about the spacing between acts anyway. I worked a lot on the times themselves.
Not to say that it couldn't easily be bumped down 15 minutes..
it's just that the main and outdoor don't usually start that early.

who knows though - maybe they will start each stage earlier this year. but the bottom line is that with this many acts, the set times don't have much choice but to look pretty much like this. I mean the times, not the acts, haha. though I hope we're getting closer. this year is a tricky one.
