Empire of the Sun closes the Sahara and take Scissor Sisters out of the Sahara too. Bump up Cage The Elephant and Gogol takes their old spot. Animal Collective, Bright Eyes and Mumford & Sons all switch clockwise, so it's Bright Eyes>Mumford & Sons and AC on the Outdoor. One Day As A Lion seems like an Outdoor Theatre act too. Also feeling Elbow on the mainstage like around where Mariachi El Bronx is at.
This is 1000% wrong.
And Clumsy, I would bank pretty heavily on Empire of the Sun closing the Outdoor. Definately not Sahara. If not closing the outdoor though, then closing the mojave.
Also, I am would switch Mumford with Bright Eyes, and Big Audio Dynamite with Suede. I also do not see The Kills playing the Mojave again. And I am pretty sure One Day As A Lion will be a daytime Outdoor act. Mariachi El Bronx will probably be in the mojave.
you guys think the Kills will be on the Outdoor?
I would LOVE this at night, but would be so, so saddened if it were earlier in the day.
what about them closing the outdoor vs. AF?
London Suede (sunset) > BSS > Bright Eyes (b/t AC and AF) > The Kills
I think Saturday will go something like this...
Mainstage:
The Kills: 6:30-7:20
Suede - 7:45-8:35
Bright Eyes 9:00-10:10
Animal Collective 19:35-10:35
Arcade Fire 11:00-?
With the Outdoor being
The New Pornos: 6:50-7:40
Broken Social Scene: 8:10-9:00
Big Audio Dynamite 9:25-10:15
Mumford & Sons 10:35-11:25
Empire of The Sun 11:55-?
I really like that rage patton. I might be a bit bias since it let's me see everyone I really want to watch, but it seems well put together.
Wouldn't Cage the Elephant play the main stage. I thought they were big with kroq?

Unfortunately I think the Kills are bound to be on the Outdoor Theater, definitely at night.
Wow... that Mumford & Sons/Broken Social Scene/Swell Season/Gogol Bordello/Scissor Sisters conflict plus the Arcade Fire/Jenny and Johnny conflict would literally screw over half my Saturday. haha

A One Day As A Lion/ Arcade Fire conflict would be straight up heartbreaking. I honestly think ODAL will be in the late afternoon at the outdoor. Zack is a huge draw.
"Monklish Licker"
I was thinking the same thing. I could care less if they did, but I don't think that willl happen. This could be easily fixed by giving Arcade Fire an hour and a half set instead of 2 hrs. I've never known Arcade Fire to be a band that plays long sets, but that may have changed with the new album.
The White Stripes 9/18
I'm a little late on this thread but... where's Lil' B?
12/6: Japandroids/DIIV
1/10: Mister Lies/Matthewdavid
This works fairly well for me. I need to accept that I'm probably going to miss at least 2 or 3 out of Bright Eyes, BSS, Jenny and Johnny, Swell Season, and The Kills. Sigh.
::EDIT:: To emphasize, I'd be surprised if Arcade Fire go on before 11 (with the 1am curfew) and Kanye isn't on by 10:30 (with a midnight curfew).

I hope Shpongle & Empire of the Sun don't conflict. I must see both of them. I would also like to hope One Day as a Lion and Paul Van Dyk don't conflct.

Something to consider here. The best way to schedule Friday and Saturday this year, is based on the 2010 schedule, because that is the only schedule that goes till 1am. Also, keep in mind one of the reasons the curfew was extended, was to give headliners extra time, whether they needed it or not. Jay-Z was scheduled for 10:50 and Muse for 9:35. I think it is a safe assumption here that we cannot schedule Arcade Fire for any later than 11:00.
With that in mind, I have made a revised Saturday:
Mainstage:
Arcade Fire: 11:00-?
Animal Collective 9:10-10:10
Bright Eyes: 7:55-8:45
Suede: 6:40-7:30
Outdoor Theatre:
Empire of The Sun: 11:30-?
Mumford and Sons: 10:10-11:00
Big Audio Dynamite: 8:55-9:45
The Kills: 7:40-8:30
Broken Social Scene: 6:25-7:15
I think that looks about right.
I really like what you've done with that, Josh. I would also like to request switching Cage the Elephant and the New Pornographers. 2 Canadian supergroups in a row on the Outdoor stage seems feasible, and Cage the Elephant seem to have a KROQ/radio fan base.
