My friends were eating breakfast at IHop last year on Sunday morning, and these 4 dudes gave them their VIP wrist bands...said they weren't going to the festival on the last day. We already had general admission wrist bands, so that was pretty sweet.

Also, 5 years ago I forgot my ID and we strategically peeled off a Heineken bracelet from one of my friends so that I could enjoy a beer later in the day. I haven't let this happen again.

OK, here's the real deal holyfield:

1. yes people managed to do sell their wristbands successfully last year. GV has said this year the wristbands are different. Whatever worked last year may (and probably) won't work this year. Last year was a first as far as 3 day festival passes for coachella and it was a learning experience.

2. honestly trying to figure out how to cheat the system on coachella's official forum is not really the best strategy. do some research outside of GV's channels.

3. you asked, you got a response. let it go, you're just annoying everyone


best of luck, you're taking a risk by switching wristbands, don't be surprised if it doesn't work out for you as you intended.

Ha, I do . . . I kept my wristband on from LiB and went to a show a few days later. I was able to get into the VIP area, because I still had on a sparkly wristband on from an unrelated show.

If you leave the festival early you can trade in your wrist band for a t-shirt and then they can re-sell a new wrist band to people looking to get into the festival at a reduced rate without it going to waste...win win right?

If you leave the festival early you can trade in your wrist band for a t-shirt and then they can re-sell a new wrist band to people looking to get into the festival at a reduced rate without it going to waste...win win right?
