Shower nightmare

Anybody else wait in the shower line for FIVE HOURS last year?
I got sunburn so bad it turned purple and bubbled, first time I heard the term "sun poisoning" Yeah, it's a real thing.. look it up.
I like how they tricked you by hiding half the line up behind a fence too.
Moral of the story, fuck being clean.

If you can stand to miss any acts though there are no lines from 8:00 PM to about midnight. We showered to Muse live and it was great!

Cooling off was the biggest issue for us last year. I actually reserved a P/U from Uhaul in Indio and a 160 gallon water tank for the back of the truck just so we can have a kiddie pool and maybe a slip n slide for this year or at least some sort of gravity fed sprinkler for sure.

Water doesn't have to be potable for you to bathe. I swim in lakes, ponds, rivers, etc, but I'm not chugging down the water in them. Also, anyone who stands in line for more than 10 minutes for a shower is a fool. It's a god damn music fesitval, get a little dirty people.

Last year I brought in two 2 gallon water containers, which my boyfriend and I used to wash one another's hair while sitting in a camping chair directly behind my car. That and baby wipes worked really well -- and then I did actually take a shower around 8 pm on Saturday.

Being dirty at the music festival I'm fine with, it's the 3 day drive before the festival + the festival+ minimal chances to shower during the 3 day drive home that I have a problem with. Not so much myself, but the 3 other people in the car that smell like tacos and dead animals for the whole trip.

ive showered but only to get a glimpse at naked men. but other than that i dont care. i will use wipes or not shower at all especially when in 2 hours will be dripping with sweat and dirty.
