Probably means nothing to anybody, but man, I had no idea the werewolf guy from the original version of Being Human was gay.
What is it with gay werewolves?

I'm sorry to say I know exactly who you mean. But I felt it was pretty obvious he was gay from his off-screen interviews/etc.
I prefer the vampire.
The irony is that he looks way more werewolf-y to me than Tovey does.
Either way, I would let him bite me.
(Not gay, totally gratuitous):

See, I'd never seen any of his offscreen stuff, and he's kind of cornered a market in cuddly BBC boyfriends of girlfriends, so I was a little surprised.
The Mitchell guy is gonna be in The Hobbit, out of interest.
Also, I feel bad for shunting this under my post -
gets explicit at 1:50
He should just come out already. He's totally a sista'.
Speaking of which, Justin Bieber gifted a fucking car to his "best friend". Uh-huh.
Weekend is now streaming on Netflix. Looking forward to checking it out, well, on the weekend!
I watched it a couple of days ago and enjoyed it. The characters and interactions feel authentic, which is reason enough to give it praise as a queer movie. It deals with some gay issues, but in a way that doesn't seem forced and after school specially, just extensions of the characters' particular neuroses. It really captures the intoxicating and frightening feeling of meeting someone new that you really like.
Well I pick great timing: Last night I came out to my mom, and she reacted how I thought she would. Said she didn't like it, and she didn't need time to accept cause she won't. On the 45 minute drive home, it was so awkward cause she had the stereo loud, but I could tell she was crying. Then when we get home, she said that was her first reaction, and that she still loved me. Still can't shake the feeling of guilt for making her sad, but I felt it had to be done.
Congrats, Nylar. That was a big move. A great way to begin the new year.
My mom kicked me out when I told her. She came around a few months later. My dad was fine.
Good job nylar - takes courage. Save the guilt for when you do something really horrible. Think of it as letting your mom get to know you more and let her adjust in her own way. Maybe write her a letter if there are still things you want to say, and offer to talk again if she wants. It was cool that she said she still loved you.
Good for you, Nylar.
"Well, that's just like, you know... your opinion, man"
That's great, Nylar! Congrats.![]()
congratulations! such a liberating feeling : )

And, ooh, WEEKENDs on Netflix streaming. Thanks for the tip!
*starts another free trial*
Congrats, nyar! It may hurt right now, and you may feel guilty right now for making her unhappy... but it's good that she really knows you rather than clinging to her idea of who you are.
If during a 45 minute span of time she went from saying she wouldn't accept it, to she loves you anyway, I think she will be fine.![]()
Congrats. Don't beat yourself up too much. It's society that's in the wrong on this one, not you, and she'll come around to it more as time goes on and probably be a better, more accepting person because of it. And you'll feel better not having to hold it in.
Yeah, you shouldn't feel guilty about who you are.

What the fuck is this?!!?
ROAD TRIP!
Hey dudes,
I am coming back to Coachella for my second year!!
This year two of my friends and I are going to drive down the coast from Vancouver BC, going through Seattle, Portland, San Fransisco, LA, then to our rented house in Palm Springs. We are taking 5 days to do this, so we have plenty of time to stop and smell the roses in each place.
As it will be my first time visiting most of these cities, Id love to hear some insider info on some cool stuff to see (avoiding major touristy stuffs).
Especially SF as I will be spending my 26th birthday there! Where is a good place to go that is lady friendly? (As much as Id love to hang out with a bunch of bears and cubs I have two girls escorting me) Is there a good pub or something in SF where I can troll for bears but also will be cool with the girls? Heh.
Also, tips on places with good cheap veggie food would be cool.
Thanks Bros!
