I'm way late to this, but I'm watching Ru Pauls Drag Race, and I kinda love it
I knew of the show and a lot of the contestants (because a lot of them would be on SiriusXM's gay channel OutQ), but never watched an episode.
They are re-running the first season right now (with new commentary by Ru Paul).
Netflix had it a while back but took it down =\ very fun show
I pretty much have all the seasons + untucked & allstars HunterG...only missing Drag U which in my opinion wasn't a very good show
I can upload them and link you thru my dropbox if you want them
in the tightest of Andrew Christian almost naked briefs GPS....red ones
So, 3 quick things:
From the "what the hell/you never know" files: So I met a charmer in the produce section at Whole Foods last week. I was to clueless to realize he was flirting with me as we shared a laugh over an old biddie who was outraged with the produce clerk for not having any Persian cucumbers. I just thought to myself, oh, he was a nice chap and that was a funny experience. Such a dolt. When it hit me -- a full 48 hours later -- that he was flirting, I said what the hell, and decided to post a Craigslist missed connection ad. And the damn thing worked! Just had my second date with him yesterday. Getting those ridiculous butterflies already. Ugh. It's sickeningly heternormative.
Maulik Pancholy, the adorable actor who played Jonathan on 30 Rock, Sanjay on Weeds Weeds and, apparently, some dude on Whitney came out [officially] this week. You know -- this guy:
While it's hardly a shock that Pancholy is gay, this one made me happy. It's still somewhat rare to see prominent queer people of color come out publicly. And then queer people of South Asian ancestry? Even more rare. I have a few Indian and Pakistani friends who lead these crazy compartmentalized double-lives -- one of whom is seriously considering marrying a woman. While Pancholy's a fairly minor celebrity, having a slowly increasing number of prominent South Asian queer people come out just makes me happy.
Anyone else really looking forward to HBO's Looking? Sounds like the first mini-season is largely directed by Andrew Haigh, director of Weekend. I'm just glad that there's something LGBT related on tv which has no connection to the dreadful Ryan Murphy.

So Tom Daley....anyone, anyone? Is his "I still fancy girls" statement just a confused teenager trying to figure out his sexuality and has he bought a one-way ticket to Gaysville? I learned a new word today, "biphobia". Thanks Advocate. In any case, I think it's great.
Also, Rage, you haven't been here lately. Are you married now??
Sooo, did anyone see that Cheyenne Jackson jo video a while back?
I wanted to go to Kay Sedia's Christmas show at Casita Del Campo this week, but had no one to go with =o( I do concerts alone frequently, but never done a play/musical alone.
I never actually followed up on it. The video looks like him, plus the tattoos. Still waiting for a Jensen Ackles or Jared Padalecki tape of sorts...
Alabama Town Is Outraged After Accidentally Hiring Gay Cheerleading Squad For Their Christmas Parade
The Prancing Elites, an all-male gay cheerleading squad from Mobile, Alabama, danced in a Christmas parade a few miles west in the small town of Semmes last weekend.
Townsfolk, however, were appalled, apparently not knowing that The Prancing Elites were planned for the parade.
FOX 10 reports that as the dancers made their way down the street parade-watchers jeered at the dancers and made comments.
Semmes resident Claudia Davis told FOX 10 that she’s furious no one knew the dancers were planned for the parade.
According to AL.com, Karen McDuffie, who was in charge of accepting applications for the event, didn’t think they would dress as vulgarly as they did.
Meanwhile, there were female cheerleaders dressed in skimpier outfits and no one gave a fuck about them.
Hi queerbos. Can we just take a minute to acknowledge how crazy ahead of her time Annie Lennox was? The way she glares at the camera, the crazy drag queen, the gender queerness, the whole Madonna-whore complex. So. Good. This was 1987. And this is basically what Roisin Murphy sounds like today. I wish Annie Lennox would get weird again.
Jewface hasn't posted in decades
Yes, welcome back Jewface. I hope you've got some thicker skin this time.
"Take his shoes off."
Pending set times, where should the gay meetup be this year? Pet Shop Boys? If they are in the Sahara, we can meetup by the soundboard.
