dont go to a scalper, go to a person who has to get rid of the ticket.

i live in Nor cal so my search is sacramento, the central valley, and the bay area and you can find them. just have to be patient and look.

hey people should get their tix now if they are gonna panic and go apeshit!! good luck to all! see you there!

    yes....

i think scalpers had less to do with the sell out, and more to do with people like me who bought my camping tickets as soon as they went on sale just in case....

    Were you there last year??

How many people do you think actually bought FACE value, REAL tickets after the event sold out last year?

My friend from LA wasnt able to attend last year b/c he wasn't able to find a ticket under $600 within 3 days of the fest

If you look on ebay most of the sellers of camping tickets are not "ticket companies" but normal people with no/little feedback.

I dont think Scalpers bought them all up..greedy concert folk did.

Holy Schnazzlewaffle! They updated the tickets page again.

All limited remaining festival passes will require the purchase of a shuttle pass and the purchase of a $50 prepaid frozen lemonade card.

I call BS on this. Complete money grab from GV. What a bunch or freaking thieves, tacking on another $50 just because they know they can.

I'm flying in, so how am I supposed to get around a desert town without a car? Now it looks like I'm gonna have to get a rental car and a shuttle pass. I'll give the shuttle a try, but I have a feeling I'm not going to be very impressed.

I guess I learned my lesson not to wait a couple days to buy.

You can easily sell your shuttle pass. You people are moronic. They aren't selling that packaged option still because they want to make money. It's still available because it's the only thing still available.

The same place where he's going to buy a $50 camping pass the week of the festival.

    You are full of it.

And now you have a shuttle, why would you need a rental car? Reviews from last year's shuttle were very positive.

    Bingo!

What Rosemont is trying to tell you people is if you don't get tickets NOW from ticketmaster. You will be forced to risk fake tickets in the parking lot and on craigslist at ridiculous prices.

How can you easily sell it if you have to pick them up at the Shuttle location?

Although I am usually the guy stressing about worst case scenarios like this (since some of my camping friends had to get these tickets), I doubt this will happen. I think GV cares more about selling out their shuttle passes more so than anybody actually using them. My guess is they realized "hey, we're about to sell out but at this rate we won't sell enough shuttle passes...let's just include them together".

You meet someone there with your rental car if you are that desperate to get back that $50.

Exactly. Best to pay the extra $50 or whatever it is now and try to sell the shuttle pass than risk the hassle of buying from a reseller, scalper etc.

The remaining festival passes also include a shuttle pass to and from the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. Shuttle passes are now required in order to help ease congestion in and out of the venue.
Not because it's all there is left.

Not to mention, taking the shuttle isn’t the worst thing in the world. Sometimes we have to be forced to try new things. We tend to go with what’s comfortable for us, and for Coachella that often means driving and parking. For many, the Shuttle may end up being the preferable option in the future.\

Yeah I think we have to wait to see how this shuttle works out - sounds like it's a real effort to limit traffic and decrease congestion near the site. Makes a ton of sense actually.
