They could've done some things better in that departement, but it just doesn't matter when there are 15-20,000 too many attendees. Booking becomes (became) a moot issue after 6pm.

The really retarded thing is allowing Coachella to be another diluted and oversold event, therefore becoming like any other festival in the US.

Those aerial photos are from around 2:00 on Friday. Tents were already packed by then.

To divert sound away from the main stage. It used to be pointed towards the main stage for some reason. The bass was alot more intrusive then. I remember seeing some band on the main stage, and itching to go to the Sahara because of the incredible bass.

i wish people would stop complaining about the 'lab. I saw bands at every stage this year and never had a problem. if the do lab is bugging you move away from it and towards the stage. IDK i just love the do lab so much i wish people would stop hatin'. If it was where the ferris wheel then it would totally change its purpose as a sort of a waypoint to chill out and listen to some music and sit on some fantastic couches.

They should probably start now if they are going to add some elevation next year. A hill back by the dolab & crane would be nice. Also, get rid of those stables in the middle and plant some grass.

You sure about that? Look at how light the traffic is on Monroe (lower right hand corner of the shot). Monroe was packed bumper to bumper at that time on Friday.

Based on the shadows, I'd say 1:30 - 2:30 is realistic.

Not sure. It looks earlier to me, but that's just according to the notes on the flickr page of the photo. The only thing I'm sure of it was before 3-ish based on the shadows alone.

You have no idea who you are talking to do you? You might ask other members of the board first, but I can tell you I have been to every (major) festival in the states apart from Rothbury and Voodoo. Go check out my ticket stub page if you need proof.

I make it out to many festivals outside the US as well, including 2 Glastos and 1 V Fest.

Tim. You are a dumbass. You do realize that not everyone can be near the stage, right? It's not physically possible. Do you understand this simple concept? Now, because everyone can't be close to the stages, it then follows that many people will have to suffer through the annoyance that is the Do Lab. Just think about it for a minute.
