Coachella has been dropping the ball in recent years on a number of issues. This year happens to be the Car Camping Passes. I move to camp in the streets of Indio this year. I will homeless it out if anyone else wants to do that or until I find someone to sleep with for the couple of days.

I understand... but the people of Coachella aren't happy about scalpers buying up all of their tickets. Desperate times call for desperate measures. If enough people flood the streets and create a handful of problems. It will force the local PD to do something about ticket sales in the future. But I am talking like a lot of people.

Looks like you'll find some "free" housing in a Indio jail cell with your plan bro. It's illegal to do this in Indio and probably not safe to sleep in your car, especially once the sun comes up. Back in the day, I've had friends pass out on the lawns of houses and Denny's in the infancy of Coachella. Trust, this issue on hotels booking fast is way older than camping passes running out and there's laws already in place for rogue guests of the city. Remember that the other 361 days of the year, this is not a party community of music lovers and a good number are retirees.

Also Coachella didn't drop the ball on camping, people just didn't take care of business when they could of weeks ago via layaway and yesterday's onsale. I got my hotel in Indio in August along with my group of people that wanted to go to Coachella last year so we were ready to go when things got real. Why wait till the last minute to accomplish what you can do today? I don't need to see the lineup to know I want to go. By the way, you might want to get your ticket now before that sells out too.

Agreed.. It also doesn't help, (or hurt), that each and every year Coachella is gaining more and more exposure throughout the world. Social media in general is rapidly becoming a main driving force in ALL society.

Facebook can connect to the almost 200,000 people, (who "like" their page), ALONE with a push of a button, this wasn't the case a few years ago.
