VIP Hotel Package...

Hi all, My future husband and I are celebrating our honeymoon with Coachella, we really want to get a VIP hotel package from the JW Marriot, we wanted La Quinta but all of their offer are completely sold out. ...I'm wondering, how quick do you think the VIP package at the Marriot will sell out? ...Won't have the deposit until next Wednesday and I'm crossing my fingers...

Aww, Thank you! ...yeah, we are really hoping to be able to do the Safari Tent, but we aren't going to be able to know if we are going to have the full $5000, for maybe another week and VIP is sold out, so we are kind of in a pickle right now, because we really don't want to go regular ol' GA for our Honeymoon, but we also don't want to NOT attend Coachella, just because we are sitting around crossing our fingers, hoping we will be able to afford the Safari Tent.

So we feel it's either settle with a local hotel room and VIP Ticket/Shuttle Pass, which almost averages out to about the cost of the safari tent

I hope you guys get the $4000 together!! The Safari tent option may be WAY over priced, but DAMNIT if it doesn't sound like it would be fun to do at least once!!

If you really want to secure VIP then buy the VIP shuttle Pass separately while you still can and then sort out your hotel once you the rest of the money together - that way you won't miss out?

Yeah, I totally hear you but since we aren't going to get word (about the funds) until Wednesday, and more Travel Packages go on sale tomorrow. We figure, why not just wait until tomorrow, see how everything goes and if our Safari dreams go down the pooper, well then...VIP/Hotel package it is, because it's like Necie said, if you can manage to acquire the funds why not experience the Safari tents at least once, especially for a honeymoon.

(but we have the money TODAY for she shuttle pass, so yeah I'm really conflicted)

Wow...So it looks like the Safari Tent is going to happen. My only conflict now is that we won't have the money in my Fiancé's back account for another 2-4 weeks. I called Valley Music to find out if there are still Safari Tent's available and explained my situation, in which they apologized for not being able to take a deposit/reservation but assured me that they should still be available for about another month. I'm excited, but still nerveous that they will all sell out, and more hotel packages are going on sale today...which again causes a conflict for me...

so, my question to everybody is...does anybody know if the Safari Tent's have sold out in previous years?

Also, does anybody know if you can buy like "insurance" with your hotel reservation, that states, if I end up canceling my reservation and I wouldn't lose all my money?
