Loved it. Hope to see lots more of them.
If there's Coachella to be had, I'm gonna have it
This ain't no middle of the mall shit.
The Joy Formidable will be chatting and playing a track live on tinychat tomorrow.
Wouldn't it be rather cool if we could get some acts to do a track or two on tinychat in the run up to the 2012 festival (IE after lineup announcement), maybe just from their rehearsal space/another show. With just a week to go 'til we finish our North American tour and as we really enjoyed the brief webchat we did in SXSW; we've decided to do another one this Saturday, tomorrow at 2pm Kansas City time (Central time) ( That'll be 8pm in the UK, 3pm on the East Coast, 12pm on the West Coast). You can log in to the chat at Tinychat.com/TheJoyFormidable and we'll be performing a track, answering questions, talking nonsense, the usual.

Crap i wish knew about that tinychat show.
This reminded me of seeing Bob Mould early in the Gobi a few years ago. Loud as hell, amazing set, and setting the bar for the rest of the day. They were fantastic. My friend just saw them in Pittsburgh, where they played for less than 75 people (much different than playing Coachella).
they were awesome on conan last night, everyone went nuts

Why does every band I fall in love with end up on a Twilight soundtrack?
Por please 2014: Sleigh Bells, Friendly Fires, Depeche Mode, NIN, Cut Copy, Empire of the Sun, The Naked and Famous, Mindless Self Indulgence, Wavves and FIDLAR
And "Endtapes" is such a great song. But if bought from iTunes, I will have to suffer the awful album cover art popping up in my screensaver.
Por please 2014: Sleigh Bells, Friendly Fires, Depeche Mode, NIN, Cut Copy, Empire of the Sun, The Naked and Famous, Mindless Self Indulgence, Wavves and FIDLAR
Album out in UK on 21st, going to see them on 23rd. SO long since I last saw them.
I was lucky enough to meet them on my birthday in 2012. They were extremely nice and approachable.
The Joy Formidable does no wrong, and I'm impatiently awaiting their new album next week. It's been getting great reviews by several of the music rags.
