No "Chillwave" bands?

Say what you will about the genre label ( I don't like it either) but the artists that are affiliated with "chillwave" are all amazing, (ie: Memory tapes, Neon Indian, Toro y moi, Washed out, etc.) Where are they?

Chillwave died pretty quickly. That's not to say there aren't several artists I wouldn't have liked to see. Totally missed the witchhouse bandwagon too.

i would have liked to see Small Black, especially as i've missed their last two San Diego shows. as for witchhouse/drag/whatever White Ring is pretty goddamn great and i'd see Salem just for the trainwreck factor. fucking crackheads.

I'm glad. Neon Indian was terrible at The Echo in LA a couple years back. Washed Out doesn't have enough material to do a full half hour set.

However, Memory Tapes was amazing live.

In any case, Chillwave is a dying genre.

I think these two artists have pushed the "chillwave" sound to the next level. I mean, a part of the whole chillwave thing is the DIY bedroom sound, right? Because that is definitely represented this year on the lineup: Twin Shadow, Delorean, Phantogram, even Here We Go Magic.
