these guys are in the US for the first time right now, having come from NZ. they're playing in San Francisco 4/14 and are free for five days thereafter. i also think they played a GV venue in LA last Fall. they put on a good show, they'd bring the right sort of vibe for Coachella, and this board seems to support their inclusion. DO THE RIGHT THING GV!!! add them!!

Yes, they are excellent live and have an amazing debut album....they played the Echoplex in November...and it was a great show! Im shocked they are opening for Foals, and arent at Coachella....big fuckin FAIL on Paul T's part, unless he adds them later.

I've had this exact premonition but it won't happen without GV TAKING ACTION! I've wondered why they're not on the lineup already... they've already played a GV show - maybe it was really poorly received or something? I don't think it's a booking/logistical issue... they're on tour with Foals... who are on the lineup. I just don't understand. Very low chance of them being available, in the middle of a US tour, on Coachella weekend next year. They're just getting popular; this would seriously be a perfect add for the lineup. Let's hope GV figures this one out.

They are also doing a show the Fri night of Coachella in San Diego opening for Foals and the Kills... who yes... as mentioned play the next day in Indio. Maybe all of a sudden they show up on the schedule playing a noon slot in the Gobi or Mojave or something?
