Note: This is going to sound psychotic.
2010 had the most bands, 129. Before that 2008 had the most with like 122. Why does this year have 171? Are the dome artists included on this years poster? Did they really go for that much quantity over quality?
Why are there all of a sudden more than 2 sub-headliners on that second line for the first time since 2007?
Why are Kanye and the Strokes sharing a line?
Why does Sunday feel like a Coachella/Bamboozle left baby day?
Why does this poster feel like a fucking fake poster? If someone made a fake with Mumford & Sons that high or the Strokes and Kanye on the same line they'd be called a fucking r-tard.
I'm not dissatisfied with the lineup...any 3 days of music that I get to see:
Beardyman, Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears, Excision, The Morning Benders, Titus Andronicus, !!!, Boyz Noize, Cut Copy, Magnetic Man, Sasha, the Chem Bros, Black Keys
The Felice Brothers, Freelance Whales, Yacht, Raphael Saadiq, Radio Dept, Cults, Tallest Man On Earth, Gogol Bordello, New Pornographers, Scissor Sisters, Paul Van Dyk, BSS, Suede, Empire of the Son, Mumford & Sons, Animal Collective, Arcade Fire
Caspa, Twin Shadow, Phantogram, Delorean, Yelle, Nas & Damian Marley, Ratatat, Leftfield, Axwell, DFA1979, The National, The Strokes, Kanye West
...is fine by me...but wtf.
Let the flaming begin...but I feel like there will be a lot of tweaking (more than usual) before the final poster is revealed.
Any thoughts or feelings (besides what a waste of a thread this is)?
