Thank you. But, unless he has GLK behind him on the decks, I'm not sure it would be worth it. Has anyone ever seen him live? I wonder if my massive hunger to see him would be met with equal amounts of disappointment. Recreating the stuff from Sufi and a Killer seems like it would be a tough task...maybe an impossible one without GLK.

You just had to rub it in, eh Zimmy. If you really want to finish the job, make sure to post just how fucking amazing Gonjasufi was.

However, there will be repercussions, though. You've been warned.

hey. Unless homie's got some ulterior motives different from the rest of them, he'll be indio the next day... I mean, you are going to coachella (yes?) and seeing all that while I'll be derp'n around the city.

I'll write a full review regardless with video included.

Geezus. Well, wait, it's a 6 hour show. That's a lot of names for a 6 hour window.

    19. yeah, I don't think they could do that with two rooms (main and upstairs). So hmm... neither of the other two rooms have systems that are really suited for bass heavy music. I guess the downstairs would be better than the front room. Eh, just speculating. But yeah, just two rooms would be straight robbery of some good sets.

    Touche.

(I sure hope you are correct. But, as is inevitably the case with my must-sees, Gonjasufi will be going up against PJ Harvey who is up against Menomena...blah, blah, blah. Yes, post the video, please)

How empty was the Fox for CWK? They seemed to be pumping that show more than usual. Did you like it? Their new album is so, so weak.

Not in a long time have I ever been so uninterested in a show as Cold War Kids. The new stuff is Kings of Leon but none of the songs are memorable.

Not surprised someone on here won tickets on Twitter. I won 2 from Live 105 and my friend won about 6.

    Upcoming Shows:
    Four Tet
    Coachella 4/20-4/22

I'm perfectly content with the San Franchella shows I have seen and will be seeing. Plus, Coachella's set times would have been detrimental to my enjoyment of the Festival.

looking forward to Phantogram on Friday night at the Indy. saw some clips from their SXSW show and they sounded great.

on a side note... I was walking down 11th today in SF and as I passed Slim's I notice a ticket on the ground. Instinctively, I pick it up thinking it was for a past show, but it turns out it is for WIRE's gig there on Sunday night. If it was purchased by someone on this board, I would be happy to return it to you. Just PM me the approx. time and date of purchase, along with the method by which you paid. Otherwise, I might just go check them out.

I've seen Cut Copy twice. No Elbow, Empire of the Sun, or Leftfield makes this year a major bust for me.
