This makes so much more sense to me than completely blowing off the presale. Why not at least try and buy tickets to see if you can/want to go later? Ha, yes, I had forgotten but that is true. But then it turned out I was going to be in Los Angeles for a business meeting anyway that week, so why not?

This year, the only reason I would end up going would be if I had secured a summer internship that all but guaranteed I would be offered a post-MBA position at the company with a starting salary of at least in the six figures. Then I wouldn't need to worry about missing anything because my performance for the next year and a half would be pretty irrelevant. But seeing that the probability of that happening is about 1%, I think it's pretty likely I'm going to end up sitting at home this year.

But Bryan and Brandon, I'm rooting for you.
