Jeff Goldblum for main stage 2012.
2011 Perfectchella.
Saw The Chemical Brothers the other night, they were amazing.
This was their setlist...
Tomorrow Never Knows (vocal) / Galvanize
Do It Again / Get Yourself High (Vocal)
Horse Power
Chemical Beats
Swoon
Star Guitar
Hey Boy, Hey Girl
Don't Think
Out of Control
Setting Sun / It Doesn't Matter (Vocal)
Saturate / Believe
Escape Velocity / The Golden Path (Vocal)
Super Flash / "You are all my children now" (Clown Visual)
Leave Home / Block Rockin' Beats
Horsepower and Block Rockin' Beats were probably the highlights, both sounded great and the crowd lost their shit during both of them. Galvanize is the perfect opener too.

the Black Keys - OFWGKTA
Brandon Flowers - Sleigh Bells - Cut Copy
Crystal Castles - Cold War Kids - Glasser
Saturday: Arcade Fire
Foals - Freelance Whales
Animal Collective - Cage the Elephant - Wire
Two Door Cinema Club - the Kills - Elbow
Sunday: Kanye West
the National - Death from Above 1979
Phantogram - the Strokes - HEALTH
Menomena - Ratatat - Twin Shadow
Hey Boy Hey Girl -> Dont Think -> Out of Control
I'm going to be dancing so hard.

I like Galvanize, but I would rather them open with Hey Boy, Hey Girl.
Last.fm
Baths - 6/25 - Hotel Congress
My Bloody Valentine - 8/13 - Austin Music Hall
Ty Segall - 8/27 - Mohawk
Gold Panda - 9/14 - Mohawk
Austin City Limits - 10/4 - 10/6 - Zilker Park
James Blake - 10/28 - Emo's
Galvanize has been their opener for like the last 4 years, no? They were opening with it as far back as 07 (as far as I know). I would much prefer a different opener.
I have a new found appreciation for their 09 DJ set. Debut of Dont Think and Escape Velocity? So much win.
I would be very happy with that setlist

Hello friends!!! I have been putting this off long enough...so sorry for the delay posting the information here on the boards...
THE TIME HAS COME TO...GLOWVANIZE!
That's right. Our favorite brothers will be the epitome of all things GLOW at this years Coache11a. Be prepared to top last years GLORBITAL and all the amazing magic that was produced at that set (well let's try at least!).
SUPERSTAR DJ'S HERE WE GLOW(Copyrave 2011)
Requirements are the same as last year: Bring 100 standard glow bracelets of your choice to the meet-up, we will break them before the set, and erupt at a certain Chemical Beat!
*The song is not chosen yet, I think some front runners are Hey Boy Hey Girl, Swoon, and Escape Velocity.
*This year we will have MULTIPLE sheets to erupt the glow, last year we learned one sheet was a little too heavy and we want more height.
*This year I also want to do a better job of meeting up and staying at the set times sign before the set...I felt like we all got a little excited and ahead of ourselves and left for the center before some people could meet us!
*I made a sign for those who are not familiar with the regular boardies faces as a signal of our location.
*The meet-up will probably take place 20-30 minutes before the set starts...final details will be released in April

COACHELLA 2014
DAFT PUNK,... Ronald Jenkees! Outkast!! Prodigy! Faithless! Underworld! London Elektricity! (live set) Future Sound of London! DJ Yoda (DVJ Set!) Dillinja and Lemon D w/ the Valve Soundsystem, Ed Solo & Deekline! Dizzee Rascal!
So as far as song choice, I know we all have great opinions. It needs to be a song we
a) Know they will play in this tour (based on 2010 shows)
b) Has a noticeable beat we can count on for timing and group cohesion
c) DIRTY DIRTY DROP
We can compile a list, and do a vote if you guys would like. No need to make a poll on here but I could have everyone message me and tally up the results if you think that's a good idea?
Coachella 07 (the introduction), 08 (the bands), 09 (the documentary), 10 (the people i came with), 11 (the relationship test... we passed), 12 (whatever the weather, Dirty Epic forever), 13 (the year of the troll)
- PEARL JAM WHY YOU HATE COACHELLA? -
Well, Hey Boy Hey Girl, as much as I love it, is going to be tough to time, I think. Escape Velocity would be easy but it's usually pretty late in the set list. Swoon and Horse Power are the only ones I can think of that are played every show and would be easy to time. (Like 1:18-1:19 mark on Horse Power? or 2:04-2:05 mark on Swoon? - for the studio versions anyway). I think Swoon would be especially easy and it'll be a song that even casual listeners will know.
