every other band on the lineup pales in comparison to what this band did on their first 3 records. i hope you go deaf if you think different

Wire is my number one must see for the entire weekend.
They totally ripped off Elastica's Line Up with Three Girl Rhumba.![]()
What album should I start with for Wire?

12/1 Stooges-Palladium
12/12 Jay-z & Kanye -Staples Center
12/15 Black Star- Club Nokia
I like Wire best from about 1985 to 1990 era, after the Pink Flag period. The "Eardrum Buzz" video features Steve Martin in a cameo.
I look forward to this set!
Upcoming Shows:
Pitchfork Festival: 7/19 @ Union Park
Mountain Oasis Festival: 10/25-27
Coachella: 4/11-13 @ Empire Polo Fields
I'm really excited about this set. Wish they were billed higher, but what can you do.
Anyone remember when the drummer of WIRE left the band and they changed their name (briefly) to WIR?
not bad. I might check them out.
Do they really not play any songs from the first 3 albums anymore? Those are the only Wire records I know...
this is a bold statement....but i am looking forward to their set
I would really love to see them... Pink Flag is especially *amazing* (a lot of these songs are my all-time most played in iTunes, and that's.. definitely saying something, haha. Also a lot of the songs are short so you can just listen to them over and over and over...) This will give me an excuse to delve further into their newer stuff...
Coachella 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011!!!, 2012, 2013...
They should've gotten a higher billing for sure
i like what i hear, but do they really suck live? if so thats a bummer.
Let's go on a livin' spree!
great band
They don't suck live by any means. Just make sure you're familiar with their new album.
