They're not cancelling. They actually just added a few warm up dates before Coachella in April after cancelling their originally scheduled tour.
Kings of Leon Confirm Three USA Tour Dates Leading Up To Coachella
Monday, January 31st - Kings of Leon announced today that they'll be adding three dates in America leading into their headline slot of this year's Coachella Festival.
4/8 Tulsa, OK BOK Center
4/9 Memphis, TN FED Ex Forum
4/12 Austin, TX Frank Erwin Center
All dates will go on-sale Saturday, February 12th at 10am, local time.
The news comes off the announcement that the band's tour in Australia and South Africa, which was postponed due to surgery on drummer Nathan Followill's torn right labrum and bicep, has been officially moved to October/November 2011.
All other Kings of Leon dates, including a headline slot at the 2011 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 15, and European dates this upcoming May, June and July will not be affected.

yep. i've youtubed the shit out of this lineup and "discovered" quite a few good ones. trouble is, i've been cursed with taste and actually think it's okay to find some bands horrible, un-listenable garbage.
11 a day friday and sunday gives me enough heartburn worrying about conflicts... i don't need any more.
Removed - Marina and the Diamonds - as per Coachella twitter tonight.

Hmmm...no movement in a couple of weeks. Seems like a lot more was changed on the poster by this time last year.
Maybe the 2011 edition is perfect (to GV anyway)?
Just some billing changes on Saturday.
London Suede, Paul van Dyke, and Erykah Badu were the big movers looking at it quickly.
Seems like they're making room to drop Bright Eyes down a line. Big add coming?
Just got a tweet from coachellaupdate that the poster changed. At first glance I don't see any differences. Anyone?
I also saw the tweet, but can't seem to find any changes.
This ain't no middle of the mall shit.
The festival is sold out - is there really a point in changing the poster around now? I always assumed in years past that all of the small changes were subtle attempts at boosting ticket sales.
I have a feeling GV has to deal with band managers multiple times daily fussing about relative size and placement of their acts.
"All of you coachella 'regulars' have nasty boy pussies and itchy dick4's on your asses.
Why don't you all make like a tree and get chopped down and die. You all have been dreadfully mean to me.
I Hate you. All of you. None of you will ever get to see a womans chest meat or finger blast hott cougies like me.
Fuck you all. Consider this my resignation.
Fair the well, you elitest scumbags."
