Nice one. Question: do they normally have so many typos when they release the poster? Hopin this is a sign that they aren't done with that lineup yet

There are definitely errors made every year. You can look up the threads "2010 Poster Changes" and "2009 Poster Changes" to see how the posters for each of those years progressed over the months leading up to the festival. This year, it seems the the first version of the poster was definitely rushed. There was probably a lot of pressure to get it out after the whole KROQ fiasco with their claims that they'd have the lineup 5pm on Tuesday 1/18.

i'm hoping we get some adds/migration to Saturday. Friday and Sunday will be a clusterfuck of awesome conflicts while Sat is pretty sparse. for me at least...

Everyone's always been pretty satisfied with how this thread has been run in the past. If you want to see the current poster, all you need to do is go to the main page @ coachella.com

I guess it could be cool, though, to have each version of the poster in the first post so people can actually see its evolution. I have a copy of each version of the poster saved on my computer. But I don't know how to upload an image off my computer (only from a URL), so someone's gonna have to teach me.

Anyone else think that would greatly improve the thread? Cuz I'm happy not to bother with it and just keep doing it the way I've been doing it.

I like it the way its been. Maybe once the festival is over you can go back and put the first poster and the last for memories sake, but right now i like the clean look.

I've had a twitter feed going for the last few years that automatically watches the lineup and poster page with software I wrote to update it in realtime. Makes it easy to catch changes.

actually you just go to the lineup page, count one line.... and then compare it to the other two. Kinda simple.
