I suspect Daley leaving will only be a notable impact if Barnes decides to release new material under the Leftfield moniker. And it'd be difficult to gauge how much of an impact that would be since the last new material was released like 12 years ago.

I was at their set at Electric Picnic last year... pretty amazing, but they are more suited to a smaller indoor venue. The main stage was too big. Hope they are playing one of the smaller areas at Coachella!! Seen them a few months before in a small club in Dublin.. Now that was something else !!!!

Interesting and good to know! I imagine if they were in the Mojave/Gobi it wouldn't even be that packed...not sure how much weight they hold in terms of fans but I am most excited for this!

We need to all meet at the sign outside the tent before the set.

WHY am I just now checking into Leftfield? Based on an inadvertent recommendation on another message board I thought I would give them more of a chance than the small snippets I checked out. Leftism might be one of the greatest albums I've heard in years. I'm fucking in love. Can anyone recommend where I should go next with these guys?

Sadly they only released two studio albums; Leftism and Rhythm & Stealth. The former is widly considered to be one of the best electromic albums of all time. But these guys made their name for their live show. Download and listen to this asap:

I'm giddy envisioning what they'll sound like on the Sahara's system. I'm thinking Justice 08 loud. The set we caught last summer was technically excellent but at an outdoor festival in the middle London so they couldn't crank the sound way up.

Homelands is good but I don't think it's their best recording.

    I like the Nottingham recordings.

This is the #1 act on my list to see. I've never seen them before, have been wanting to since 96, Been to countless festivals all around but before this, never could. It's about time!

Thanks for the heads up boarderwoozel3! This could be the closing act for the Sahara. Last year Plastikman closed with a 9:30-10:30 slot.

Goodness, that early? How quickly I forget.

I suspect that someone else, likely Axwell, will come on after simply because of the number of Sahara acts that day. Not sure how they could squeeze everyone in before 10:30, especially with Sven playing for 2 hours.

Also, I'll riot if they shut it down early again.

7 or 8? Fuck me you're an optimist.

I'm working my whole weekend around Leftfield. Not that there aren't some great acts there, I've just seen them all.

    At Coachella.

    More than once.

I 'm with you, man. Last year it was a crime giving Orbital only 50 minutes when there was plenty of time to spread things out.

Really bummed about missing PJ with this conflict but given her short set + numerous times I've seen her, I'm sticking w/ Leftfield whom I never saw and may never get to see.

...Were spectacular, albeit without Afrika Bambaata singing live. 60 mins wasn't enough; i danced my tail off to their entire set.
