At first glance i thought Sahara was brilliant but the more i think about it all the e-tards arent gonna enjoy getting moshed and stage dived on multiple times

exactly. there's only but a few acts in that "hip-hop/r&b" genre, they typically draw the same people. although i'll admit, in this case, they are very different acts. but still, with a genre that is so sparsely represented why would it be necessary to conflict them at all?

I think that this was just out of necessity, they had to throw them somewhere. I was talking with my friends about how they otherwise segued a lot of those artists well...Cee-Lo into Lauryn, Wiz into Nas. And it's even entirely possible to see full sets of both Erykah Badu and Lil' B (which, by the way, I'm all over). I'm guessing OFWGKTA was just such a wildcard on the lineup that they had to squeeze them somewhere, and I think they knew there are enough people that will go see Cee-Lo based solely on Fuck You that this conflict won't hurt him (whether that's good for him or not is still up in the air).

Sahara is fucking genius. There's no conflicts I'm super crushed about missing for this, and it's the one place during the middle of the day that a) the entire place can go completely fucking crazy and b) is big enough there will be places to watch the madness from afar hopefully if that's more your thing.

Strange side effect of guaranteeing I'm seeing Skrillex which I never saw happening, but also oddly guarantees that my friends who are gonna be there for Skrillex are gonna have some OF shoved down their throats afterwards. "Oh we're gonna wanna stick around for A-trak next anyway, don't worry you'll love it! Watch out for elbows!"

I hear ya. Except for the part about not being able to see full sets of Badu and Lil' B. Dude, you have a whole hour in between. You need to learn how to walk faster, I plan on seeing both fully.

Will say though they did an excellent job overall. But to our point about hip-hop conflicts. It would have been easily avoided if they just switched OFWGKTA with Skrillex who is directly beneath them. But, hey, I know that making a schedule like this is extremely difficult, and that would have pissed someone off too if they had made that change, not sure who, but someone.

Only a fool fails to realize that there is a direct relationship (in regards to quality) between the Fanbase and the Artist. Quit being so naive.
