Having seen both I enjoyed the DFA show I saw much more. Granted the last time I saw Kanye was the Bonnaroo fiasco, what a fucking dick. Sigh, I still like his music though.

I saw a stadium show he did in Miami on his glow in the dark tour, which was a decent show but something about it was just lame. It was like a corny rock opera at times, and he didn't reach out to the crowd in the same way that most hip-hop artists do. Bonnaroo was just the ultimate example of that.

I don't think they'll conflict. However, it wouldn't surprise me that much if they did. I don't really care too much about this issue because I don't give a damn about Kanye.

But, if I had to bet money on it, I'd go with them not conflicting.

if in doubt i say go to dfa because the strokes will tour and dfa might just be a one off

Almost every reunion that comes to the Polo Fields is supposed to be a "one off", and then they wind up touring.

Within the DFA context, I would be surprised if they leave Indio without getting in a fist fight. Definitely a one off.

I'm still in awe over this. The last thing I remember reading about these two, they were just having a filthy name calling match at each other, finished the last of their touring in 2005-2006 and called it quits. I am so glad they decided to get back together, even if it is just for one show? Their is definitely no such thing as a conflict when these guys are playing together, they win, hands down over any act playing at the same time.
