And is The Stokes live set up really that elaborate? Isn't it just a big LCD screen? Beyond that though, The Strokes on the outdoor while the main is silent would be a disaster. It would be like Thom Yorke last year.... but worse.

It usually begins to get dark around 8ish. If Duran Duran came on at 7, their set would end in the middle of sunset. It would not be dark.

No, there is not. I think it is safe to assume Friday and Saturday will have a 1am curfew and Sunday's curfew will remain at 12am.

I think it was mentioned in an Indio document in another thread that they were planning on going till 1AM. Not sure if they'll schedule to that time or use the time for breathing room.

I see DFA on the outdoor, I think they'll be too large for the mojave.

And they put Throbbing Gristle in the Mojave in 09, tiny crowd.

They also put The Orb in the gobi that same year - I know they aren't a reunion, but it was interesting to see a 3rd-line name only half fill the gobi.

Just interesting and not really relevant facts.

I don't think this has been mentioned in this thread but The Chemcial Brothers list 10-11:30 for all of their upcoming events so there is a good chance that they won't be in that slot at Coachella.
I think The Brothers closing The Sahara makes the most sense with the new information

I think Neon Trees could definitely be mainstage before JEW (in this situation). They are this year's Airborne Toxic Event. They have one big song on the radio and will be irrelevant in 6 months.

For reference, Airborne toxic event played the main from 4:05 - 4:55 in 09 (friday)

EDIT: Nas & Damien Marley could definitely fill that Neon Trees spot if NT were to be moved to main
