I was just going to post the same thing. The Ozark version of the EZUP is $50 at walmart right now. It looks legit. Especially for $50.

    Downsides?
    1. My friends are looking at me to plan the meals.
    2. Not sure how tall it is (if it would fit in the trunk).

Here is what you do, I'm bringing 2 coolers. 1 is a coleman xtreme cold one and believe it or not it can keep foods frozen and cold for like 3-5 days.

So you freeze your foods and everything ahead of time, like hamburgers, hot dogs, etc. etc. freeze it all then let's say you want to eat hamburger hot dogs Saturday night, pull that out Friday night and put it in the cooler that's attached to the grill.

Then by Saturday night your food will be defrosted and ready to cook.

    2. the grill is pretty small, look at the box it came in and it's not too big at all for a full sized grill like that.

If you're willing to spend that much on a grill it seems like it would come in handy a lot.

We don't have it yet. My friend is just debating on buying it. If he does get it, I'm going to have to borrow it all the time, since I love tailgating.
As for food, I don't think I would have enough time to prep much. (I hate the already made hamburger patties.) Plus, I only have 1 cooler, which I was just going to fill up with beer.

In my honest opinion I wouldn't use it for Coachella. If you're not going to have a cooler just for food, then I wouldn't plan big meals. Just make sandwiches and get a small propane burner from Harbor Freight for $10 and heat up water for like top ramen, mac & cheese, dry foods, etc. Then get bread and make sandwiches. The problem is most foods you can make good meals with are perishable. So you'll be changing out the ice all the time.

On like Wednesday or Tuesday night before the fest, I'm going to break up my hamburger meat, cook my pork, etc. then freeze it, and do the defrost method.

However, you can bring some things, then go buy food at the Ralph's on the day of and put it in a cooler to eat, since you have limited cooler space.

I'm pretty sure my friends have a cooler as well. I just don't know what they plan on packing. I'm trying to convince him to buy a propane stove. I'll be more than happy to cook breakfast if I'm not too hungover.

Oh, well if you're planning meals for everyone, get a cooler from them.

It's also really good to check the Big 5, Sport Chalet, Dick's, Sport Authority (and any other sporting goods store local ads) because most camping stuff isn't that cheap online. A few deals here or there but most of my best ones I've found are in person.

They had tent fans on sale at Dick's sporting goods for like 14.95 btw

We ended up with this one from Cabelas. Not the cheapest one I found but since I camp quite a bit I chose the one with more options that I would use. We also are lucky enough to have a private beach on the Columbia River here in WA and it will be a pretty handy set up on the beach for cooking there too so it is worth it to me to spend a little more on this.

My local Walmart had some of these, but they are expensive.

There's an "older" model for $25.00. I had that one when I lived in CT. It was a little flimsy, but it got the job done. Definitely worth the money. Had it for a couple years, but left it behind when I moved.

$139.00 on sale at Cabelas online and then you can pick it up from the store if one is anywhere near you to save shipping.

That's exactly what I have in mind. How much did you pay? They have a basic camping kitchen available online for $80.
