well, yes. and i'd poop at the chance to see that happen.
this is basically working up to what I've been saying about Animal Collective for a while now. (that they should just chill on the new-new stuff and just play an amazing set. get back to their roots a bit, but show how they've grown)
Deakin being back in the band only adds to this possibility.
so yeah.. my hopes are probably too high.

XTC
David Gilmour, Roger Waters and Nick Mason for a living members of Pink Floyd reunion. Throw in Bob Klose for kicks.
Why would Phil Collins filling in for Zeppelin be any better than Jason Bonham? Wouldn't Jason make it more "authentic"? The flesh and blood of John Bonham?
Phil Collins is lame.
I forgot to add Viva Voce to my list. Sheesh, my car is going to be full of spare pairs of pants for this festival.![]()

Yes, but:
They wouldn't allow the footage onto the VHS/DVD because they were unhappy with their performance
Phil Collins was 'guest drummer', Tony Thomson was 'drummer'
Could you imagine PC doing any justice to the experimental parts of, say, Dazed and Confused?
I accept I should have been specific in my original post...
