I was thinking the same thing. The board was becoming impatient, possibly due to Monklish's January 10th speculation, and this buys some time. Maybe next year, since this has been such a hit, they'll drop a few more videos earlier in the month.

No Bloody Beetroots video was ever posted. Their twitter account mentioned a new video posted to coachella.com hours before the first video--by Trentemøller--was ever posted. But the tweet was deleted.

With regards to the Bloody Beetroots tweet, people said that they tweeted "Have you seen the new Coachella video yet." Apparently this was tweeted hours before the Trentemoller video went up, and has since been deleted.

If you go to www.coachella.com and click on the twitter icon in the bottom left, it generates a tweet for you that says this exact same thing: "Have you seen the new Coachella video yet?"

Still doesn't really explain how they apparently tweeted this before the first video ever went up, but maybe it was on there briefly and they clicked that twitter link from the home page. Or maybe that same twitter link was there when the time lapse video was still up.

I agree, it really opens part of the line up to listeners who may have never heard much of the bands they are posting. It's a great idea, even if they only do it for ten or so days.
