What are everyone's thoughts on what time we should meet up? It's only a 2-3 hour drive for me, so I can work with pretty much anything.

We're planning around leaving around 3am. We'll be at Ralph's around 11 if we can regulate bathroom breaks. The earlier the better. Did you like being in Lot 5 last year Troy?

yes can we aim for EARLY AS FUCKING POSSIBLE this year? no doubt the ralph's parking lot is the jam, but every year i'm just anxious to get inside and get shit set up.

Awesome, I'm glad we're all in agreement about being earlier. Shoot for 11-11:30? And Lot 5 was meh. It's a lot closer to the festival entrance, and it's quieter (if that's your thing), but I still prefer lot 8. Lot 8 is where the party is, and all of the campground facilities are much closer.

This will be my first year going to coachella! Just moved from NC to LA. Me and a few coworkers are heading out later on Friday afternoon for weekend 1. Trying to meet people and have a huge party!

Thursday morning, 10 AM. IT'S ON. I can't wait to see you guys. Bumping because I just realized that we don't have Mike's giant pirate flag this year. Does anybody have something else to use? Do we even need a marker with the new campground street signs?

Probably not once we get in, but maybe someone should post our location in the Ralph's parking lot once we arrive. I'm sure the vets will have no problem finding eachother but if any lurkers or newbies wanna join in it could be helpful to them.

That being said it breaks my heart that I won't get to see Mikes camping set up, or see Kelly this year. Alas, we adapt and adjust. 2 FUCKIN WEEKS BABY!

Dudes I found someone to trade for weekend 1! So ill be there. Coming with a vegas caravan again should be getting there around 10-11.
Apparently they will let us stay together this year so we should try to combine groups.

I can assure you, Lot 5 was party central last year, and just a stones throw away from Lot 8. Plus, it's amazing being able to walk back to the campsite, pound beers, get shade, then walk back in 30 minutes between bands.
