Yeah, it seems early, with a full year until the primaries start, but it's never to early to postulate who from the GOP is going to run to take on Obama in 2012.

So who gets the GOP nod? What do you think is going to go down?

I put Mitt Romney as the front-runner for now. He has the fiscal/economy credentials, rather stately, looks the part (which is important, unfortunately), has been there and done that, unique executive experience... plus, most importantly (to the GOP), he has a chance of winning, unlike Palin.

Would like to see Bloomberg run... fiscally reasonable and credentialed, but not socially wacky like most of the GOP. Doubt he will though. Sad panda.
