What have you been listening to on repeat?
I'm vaccillating between Chicago house from the 80s (mostly Trax records comps) and Zombies-Odessey and Oracle

Been obsessing over Explosions In the Sky for over two years now ever since I saw Friday Night Lights. Probably the longest and most passionate I've been towards a band.

If anyone laughs, they're just being snooty and you should high kick their face into the next century.

    Pearl Jam = timeless

    To me at least...

I've been re-visiting the Microphones a lot recently.

Also, (no laughing) I currently have a bit of a guilty pleasure thing for Paul Simon's early solo work.

it's not exactly "current" music, but I've been repeating the Johnny Cash and Fiona Apple duet covers of "father and son" and "bridge over troubled water"

Hmm...well...I just made a mix where I basically pillaged mixes posted by other board members (York, John, Yablo), and threw in a few songs I chose...been listening to that a lot lately...

From the few tracks I've heard by the following artists, I want to get their newest CD's: The Fratellis, Klaxons, The Essex Green

I love strawberry icecream lately, but musically I've really been into Ani Difranco's "revelling" from her two disc release revelling/reckoning
I don't have anything clever to say right now.

Because we (people in the U.S.) think its uncool to like popular bands.

I listen to Blonde Redhead - Misery is a Butterfly (the album) at least once a day.

Hmm, current artist obsession would be "Casiotone for the Painfully Alone"...

Current song obsession is a tie: "Up Against the Wall" by Peter Bjorn and John
and "As Tall as Cliffs (Demo)" by Margot and the Nuclear So and Sos
