I want to geek out a little bit over this now that I'm going.

Madhatter's Castle: Infected Mushroom and other trance acts I don't care about at all. Is this the biggest stage? And this is also where I'm assuming a larger majority of the younger crowd will be.

Caterpillars Garden: Besides Netsky and Noisa, who is worth seeing on this stage?

The Chess Village: TECHNO. Hell fucking yeah.

Of the two remaining stages, it's safe to guess that one will be sort of popular-LA dubstep (Bassrush?) heavy? And the other......?

OK I just pulled up the previous Beyond's map and set times along with Nocturnal's and Audiotistic's just to review the whole map and stage layouts. Madhatter was the same type of music as this year so it will probably be considered the main area again and be in the same large tent. (map below)

Caterpillar's Garden had a pretty shitty lineup in there last year and was considered to me as the 2nd bass stage. Last year Chess Village was the dnb/dubstep stage hosted by Bassrush so all hopes for a 2nd dnb heavy stage are out the window to me since this is going to be the all new all techno area. Cara, Fresh could be worth checking out as long as he isn't one of these dnb turned dubstep producers. I need to look into this -but he was one of the main guys from Bad Company, founder of BC recordings and Dogs on Acid.

So that leaves two areas. I am going to assume that Cheshire Woods area is the Lagoon Stage so who knows what they are going to have on that stage this year, last year it was Lenny Vega, Bunny, Tocadisco, and Manufactured Superstars. I actually spent a decent amount of time in this area. Queen's Domain will probably be house like last year.

I think the setup will be similar to Nocturnal, where they will expand and use the space north of A and add a tent there. From the BW website they show the 2-story tent which they used at Noc, I'm assuming they will use that again.

I think the last 2 stages will be variations of House music, or one house and one tent with bass-heavy house(fidget or whatever that type of house is called) /dubstep...again assuming they follow what they did at Noc... Insomniac is general has been booking more house acts than trance acts lately.

They could also use the race track as the main stage like they did at Nocturnal a couple years ago.

I liked his EM from a couple years back but if I remember correctly it was a really chill, laidback set with both techno and house influences so I'm curious as to where they will put him.

Oh Detroit? Didn't know. Yeah, I enjoyed him a lot, favorite set of the evening. If I were to see him on the Beyond lineup it would only persuade me more to buy a ticket, in hope that insomniac gives him a longer set time. He was on for about 25 minutes at Gabah.

I need to check out his essential mix, from the track I listened to right now I would probably guess he's ending up in whatever house stage they have more than the techno stage. I haven't heard him mix live or much of his production, this is just based on the short taste I just got. I liked the production I heard and would check him out if there were no conflicts.
