Look at meeeeeeee!
You're right. I should probably just casually hint that I'm looking for something and then hope that somebody thinks I'm interesting enough to follow up. I'm hoping to find a new thing, but I'm not telling what. I don't care how many times you ask! I'm still an enigma if the only thing I'm hiding is an allergy to shellfish, right? Right?

Thanks Bradleigh. I like Paul F. Tompkins, but I haven't seen either of these. Will watch when my current album ends.
Thank you thank you thank you. I heard this on the Tompkast, but hadn't seen the video. Emu attack!
I know this isn't the podcast thread, but between Pod F Tompkast, Scott Aukerman's Comedy Bang Bang, and Superego, I haven't really been seeking out standup or sketch comedy. So much brilliance being delivered to me for free.
My initial intent for this thread was that it would encapsulate both. Podcasters are usually sitting down.
Hannah also is fully aware that Eugene Mirman is the regular co-host of Neil deGrasse Tyson's "Star Talk" podcast, correct?

Yessir. I saw Eugene recently, actually, and he showed a few clips from an upcoming TV series he's working on. It looked promising.

Good news for TV, bad new for podcasts.

The CCP comedy groupe did a twenty minute, standup skit show entitled 'Shaved' if anyone is arsed for a gander. Will look to upload and post the recording. I've never watched it, but I'm sure it's really good. Well, it felt good at the time of performance and I wrote it.

On Paul F. Tompkins and Chick-Fil-A..... we're great at capitalism and lousy at politics in the USA. If they made terrible food, this argument wouldn't be necessary. Find us a better chicken sandwich, cole slaw, waffle fries and shake, and we'll practice politics between the two. As it is, a good product will continue to sell because capitalism > politics.
For the record my mom was gay, and just terrible at marriage with everybody. Some people should be banned from marrying - people that suck at it.
Last week Comedy Bang Bang did their first ever live webcast, something which they will be doing again tonight at 6 PST. Here is last week's episode with Tim Heidecker, Paul Rust, and special guest Bill Cosby-Bukowski:
