Heard the new single today (Love is Dead). Sounds really good, mello and mature, one could say.

I have been EXTREMELY disappointed with the last 3 Suede records, here's to hoping his solo stuff rekindles a bit of the old flame I had for that band once upon a time.

Anyone else?

Did you dig The Tears? I thought they were good.

Yeah, I thought the Tears were way better than anything off of New Morning or Head Music. I guess Electricity and She's In Fashion were tolerable though.

But even with Brett and Bernard back together the results were sorta lackluster compared to the Suede debut or Dog Man Star.

THE TEARS - 2004 - 2006

Anderson and Butler, buried the hatchet and formed the Tears. They might be done though as Brett is exploring solo options now. The official word is they are on hiatus.

'Trainsurfing' & 'Keen Yellow Planet' on This is Stina Nordenstam are great duets with Brett Anderson. If you haven't heard this album, i highly suggest you get hold of a copy.
