LOL. Black Star you can't reunite every 2 years. After a while it's "just a performance"

Black Star should amazing... but Nos Events Center is just not a good place for a festival. I always feel really dirty when I'm there lol.

NOS is probably one of my favorite venues in California, never really understood why a lot of people dislike it.

Really... To each their own. Idk I've only been there once and it was for Audiotistic and I'm sure a show like this would draw a different type of crowd. All I know is when I walked in their it felt like it was an old venue that wasn't taken care of properly. Green film over the little lake in the center and just all around un-clean. Kind of just reminds me of Pomona Fair Grounds just not as big.

I have felt the same about Nos events center, I actually like it. I think just the placement of it is bad, San Bernardino is kind of an undesirable place.

but the ticket price, 59-159 ? will 159 be VIP ?

This will not be worth the ticket price.

    Wasn't it $40 in 2007?

If they plan on doing price brackets I probably won't splurge for the ticket, which would probably end up being like 85 or 90.

yeah, it should be interesting to see what types of acts they'll start announcing. i do agree that the price jumped quite a bit, but it should still be worth it if they pull some gems....plus the black star reunion alone is worth a $50 ticket. plus, with murs, immortal technique and who knows how many other great acts, it could be priced just right.

and i'm not going for VIP tix. that's definitely not worth the $$

Immortal Technique was good to see around the time Revolutionary Vol. 2 came out. Always walked around the crowd shaking peoples hands and what not, got on stage and did his thing. Then the last time I saw him he was just yelling all this bullshit between songs about fuck the cops, and fuck this and fuck that. I go to shows to hear music not to have someone preach to me.

fucking awesome that Black Star is there, i'm hoping for some good younger acts, Paid Dues and RTB tend to be recycled names of the older guys...

I really want to see DPG. I was happy I got to catch them do a joint (pun intended) set with Snoop at RTB. They all killed it too say the least. Maybe the best show I went too all year. I have been bumping the shit out of Doggystyle ever since and I am always bumping Dogg Food, regardless

Immortal Technique was really fun at Coachella FYI, thats the only time I have seen him though
    G-funk acquired, thank you Coachella

Was there a Black Star show in the southern California market any time last year? Mos and Talib don't tour together regularly as Black Star; each goes out on their own and does his own thing. GU audiences haven't seen Black Star since 2007. I don't really have a problem with them calling this a reunion show.

I feel almost exactly the same. He's dope; I'll never hate on his music and his talent, but yea the last couple times I saw him I felt that same negative vibe of "fuck this fuck that, fuck the cops. If a family member is a cop fuck YOU!" Kids LOVE him though.
