I don't think there is anything on that lib lineup that I want at demf...wouldnt be surprised by Thievery showing up, however...

I agree Andrew. It blows. Thanks for being nice. 8^)

I was more refering to your comment about not wanting anything from lib at demf. Currently there are several acts that would be top acts at demf. Of course i hope that changes with the next release. I can still be convinced to do detroit.
Guys, I think we should all sell our demf tickets because this initial lineup is mediocre. Seriously would rather be in the middle of this:
I seriously need more "After Midnight" in my life.

Name one!!!!
The notion of 'top acts' doesnt apply to this festival. Top acts at this festival play from start to finish.
Edit: Sometimes I think you hate house music. And I've seen you throw down massive house sets... I'm totally confused by your disdain toward this festival.

this is some vampire nightclub shit right her'. how do I know? because everybody's into Rick Owens....
Also, the first release on Visionquest's label by Beniot and Sergio, that they are playing in their live set above, is delicious.

I saw SECT, which has Eli and Charles of Soul Clap last night. It was fantastic. Deep, soulful house music. It was a nice glimpse of what is to come at DEMF.

Hehe nice. I expect a lineup boost in the next week or so! Any idea Jo might be there? I haven't been paying attention to RA or any other touring sites...

I just got off of the phone with the Corktown Inn - the $60/night rate for a single room is still available if you commit to having your credit card charged for your stay on April 30th. I didn't even have to give them my info, they are just going to call me on April 30th to get it. I emailed the contact person just now about whether or not that will apply for the rooms with the jacuzzi.

Man those Jacuzzi suites do not look appealing to me. I'm imagining overwhelming mildew.
PS signature updated and still no flights booked, but com' on I haven't even booked flights for my trip that's in 11 days![]()
Thanks for all those great videos, Forza.
Does anyone have any specific recommendations on certain mixes/compilations/albums I should check out for the currently announced lineup?
Pains me to say it, but that lineup sucks so far. I'm sure the after-parties will be lethal like they normally are.
If you're willing to pay Casino Hotel prices, and proximity to the actual fest is your first priority, I'd reccomend the Rennaisance Center Marriott. Some of the guest rooms literally overlook Hart Plaza.

Though I'd say proximity to the after parties/warehouse parties you plan to attend is even more important. Depending on how hard you plan on partying, the trek back to the hotel at sunrise can be BRUTAL.
