Whats the word on old miami? Cheap good and fun?

Yes.

It's .... a veterans' bar? Like.. there is a bunch of Vietnam vets memorabilia. It's very much a dive, but has a huge backyard, as guedita mentioned. I didn't even realize how big until I saw videos that people had taken while there. They have a grill set up with food, the bar of course, DJs set up in the lawn (it's a Visionquest party). The only negative things I could say about it is that it was crowded and there was no shade. I have weird memories of having to use the restroom in front of a bunch of people because there were no doors... on the stalls or on the restroom itself. And also taking part of my clothing off and hanging out in the bar for a while because it was so unreasonably hot outside. There were extenuating circumstances of course.

Apparently, before we got there, or maybe while we were there and I was not coherent, or after we left, they also had some sort of actual memorial service (being that it's on Memorial Day). I have trouble reconciling the videos from that day with what I remember the place being like.
