My intro was based on Allmusic's recommendation of Camembert Electrique. Some of their records are awesome, but they also get all new-agey and shit, which isn't really my thing.

Honestly, a singles comp. Dare is such a fucking great album though, and it will be reissued in April with the nearly-as-good Fascination! ep and assorted era-appropriate miscellany.

Their first two albums are some divinely sinister leaning synth pop and contains some of my favorite songs of the genre. Although, there's only really one album's worth of good songs between the two, but get them anyway. Reproduction and Travelogue.

Thanks for these recommendations, guys - I just now noticed them. I almost bought a used vinyl copy of Fascination! at Amoeba the other day but decided against it, so maybe I'll check to see if it's still there.

They are good, if you are into that sort of thing. I find them fun but thats about it. Mean Everything to Nothing is their best album imo.

We're here to play some Mississippi Delta Blues. We're in a horrible depression, and I gotta admit - we're starting to like it.

I can't listen to Pulp right now. Not until I secure a ticket for the Pomona show on Friday. If I get all excited about them but then get shut out it'll be too painful.
