Suicide - Suicide
The first album is where it's at with that band. After that, they tamed themselves quite a bit and lost quite a bit of the insanity that made them so special. The second album is good, and I've not really heard many good things about most of their later releases. The first one is insanely good though
Orange Juice - The Glasgow School
Their albums were almost all really good and catchy and sophisticated pop, but I think this collection of their early singles and the rejected original master of their first album is the best you'll get. You can hear Franz Ferdinand and Belle and Sebastian in these songs in a great way. Really cool little release.
Thanks Bryan. Anymore for me?
Cat Stevens.

So I bought a ticket for Yo La Tengo in Oakland, but I've only ever listened to I Am Not Afraid... and that was only one time. So what should I check out?
