Coachella 2011 to Vegas

So, the title is the plan. Get a decent sized group, go to coachella, camp, and head straight to vegas for a few days of post coachella revelry. Unfortunately, my vision of a damn good time is marred by fiscally worthless friends who wont be able to make it, even with months of planning, so to the boards I come, in search of people whod like to make the journey with me, or who already have plans for one like it. Preferably people from socal, so we can meet eachother in advance over the next couple months and all be comfortable camping/driving/etc together, but please, anybody whos interested feel free to reply, and lets see what we can arrange.

Youre possibly right, last year was my first and I went with my ex who was a bit of a killjoy, so I might be less capable of a follow up trip this year. Still gonna try though.

Does sound kinda fun... but yeah. I'm usually zapped after the fest. I work a 3-day weekend schedule (3 12s), so when I take a weekend off I'll have 11 days off from the Sunday before the fest to the Thursday night after. So I'd be down to do it mid-week and fly in/out from Vegas possibly if the price were right (unfortunately I wouldn't be able to do a weekend there when all the real fun happens lol).

My problem is knowing what my friends will do. Like yours, a lot end up pulling out because they don't have the money and/or time or don't wanna make the big commitment to travel from Minnesota to make the trip.

But I've made and kept in touch with plenty of friends that I've made meeting them at the fest for the 1st time. So if it's something you're serious about keep me in the loop.

I managed to drive to Coachella from Los Angeles. Had the time of my life. Drove halfway to Santa Cruz (had my friend drive the rest of the way) for 4/20... relaxed. Drove to San Francisco. Came back home. I guess I did something wrong.

y'all are kinda lame. i would support this and possibly do it if there would be a post trip to yosemite or something... 4 nights & 3 days of partying isn't overbearing... and if it is, then YOU are doing something wrong.
