Awesome! You guys were so lucky to be that close to the festival grounds... what time did you guys arrive?

Heading down from Northern Canada with my str8 buddy, both first time at Coachella. Its pretty much impossible not to make a connection with anyone or a group of people at theses things but I usually end up spending the weekend not connecting with any gay guys. Wouldn't mind connecting with a few or a group this time around.
My buddy and I will be checking out New Orleans for a few days and then Picking up a car and some camping gear in Phoenix on April 11th and heading to Coachella via Vegas if anyone needed a lift. Not sure how big the camping area is, but by the sounds of it we could probably spare some room. Also headed to San Francisco via San Diego and Los Angeles after the festival if anyone is stuck for a ride back that way.

Here is a better view of where we were last year.
We were at Lot 12A, which by the way, kicked ass!!!
We will more than likely be there again if they follow the same procedure as last year, so just look for the Equality Flag.

Am I the only one who walked from 13A to 4A with all my gear in hand last year? Good call on that... "Yeah, I say we should put the tent campers in the farthest reaches of the grounds. You see, they don't have a car to drive them to their spots.... so it makes total sense to put the car camping closer to the toll booths! Let them eat cake?"

No, you were most definitely not the only one. Along the way we had a ton of drama from security & police, none of whom could tell us where we were SUPPOSED to be going (this was right at noon on Thursday). We almost got kicked out of the festival because we were getting a bit frustrated after walking through pasture with all of our gear for an hour. Ridiculous.

This year we will not be coming in the wrong entrance. Believe me.

Sure, we all love a hot mermaid giving that tail up... but there's something officially bad ass about a MERBEAST. Either way... as long as you don't transform into a bowl of popcorn (NIBLETS!), you should be good.

I have red hair, so I was thinking more the hot Ariel-type mermaid -- but fuck with me in 95 degree heat? Oh yeah, MERBEAST
