^ Some friends and I are going to the latter.
Seeing John Tejada at the Q in Seattle on Friday. Such a fantastic DJ.
Been bumping some Baaz lately:
Nice moomin-esque beats. Little more dancefloor friendly.
edit: No one should ever pass up a chance to see Sprinkles. Ever.
I usually enjoy Tejada, but I'm really excited for Sprinkles. First time for me.

DJ Sprinkles played this near the end of his set last week at Get Perlonized, absolutely amazing track to hear on the dancefloor.

I get what your saying in that direction as well. Im still relatively new to this whole sound and still finding different reasons to like different things. I dont think House music was ever supposed to sound too complicated, so its always going to carry with it a very familiar beat. And its been around long enough now that the genres w/in genre are starting to become recycled. I guess my overall point is that when i go to House for a feel i like the familiarity it brings.

Yeah, that Isolee track has made me super happy this last week or so. I still haven't acquired the new DJ Koze LP.
And, I'm not too crazy about the Maxmillion Dunbar House of Woo as a whole, but I love this track:
