This was definitely an interesting article but DJ Sneak is awful these days, sure he used to make super legit house tracks back in the 90's, but the stuff he plays today is pure vocal cheese house, garbage.

Solomun: one of the best DJs I've ever seen in a club context. Masterful control, perfect progression and mediation between familiarity and delayed revelation. He has a bucnh of his Diynamic radio shows on his Soundcloud page, but definitely seek out some of his own remixes. These are a couple of what he played when I saw him this weekend:

Kyle Hall's DJ set was so underwhelming at Coachella in 2011 that I sort of stopped giving his production a shot. That was an enjoyable track.

Yeah his set had a total lack of energy. There just wasn't much interaction going on between him and the crowd.

Hangthedj, how do those type of tracks work in the club? I have never really heard anyone drop Moomin or Christopher Rau type stuff. I mostly only listen to that driving late at night or when I'm just hanging out.

Damn, yeah, I didn't realize this was 3 1/2 hours long, but now that I'm in the midst of it, I can't turn it off. Each track is better than the last, and even the familiar tracks are tweaked just enough to seem like a revelation.
