You know, you can embed that here in the new board
Test
<div><object width="425" height="255"><param name="movie" value="http://www.dailymotion.com/swf/2eCVgVrEi1wf45vSn"></param><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.dailymotion.com/swf/2eCVgVrEi1wf45vSn" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="334" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object><br /><b><a href="http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xs60v_282tapesn-tapes-insistor">#28.2-TAPES'N' TAPES - Insistor</a></b><br /><i>Uploaded by <a href="http://www.dailymotion.com/lablogotheque">lablogotheque</a></i></div>
Erik - is there a way to embed videos from Dailymotion? See the code above for an example of their code to embed their videos....
Ok york, there ya go. Just use DM tags, but use the brackets [ ] when using the code. Just place whatever you see after the "swf/" (in this case, the "2eCVgVrEi1wf45vSn") inside the tags, and it will work.
Sweet! Thanks
...although I'm not entirely sure I understand what you are saying...
Sunsittute all ">"'s with "["'s? Or do it like I would with youtube tags, but only use what's after "swf/"....
outstanding. thanks york.
Yeah, I was pretty happy when I found that.
Use the DM tags like you use the Youtube tags.

My video wish: Does anyone have quality footage of Massive Attack performing 'False Flags'? I can only find shitty versions on YouTube.
Can I just say how much I love this new YouTube capability? So awesome.
those polyphonic s***e clips are awesome
Can you guys label what youtubes you're showing? So as not to waste my time?![]()
upcoming
Bjork doing Biophilia, 6/2 Hollywood Palladium, Los Angeles, CA
Outside Lands, 8/9-11 Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, CA

I'm having trouble with the youtube thing. When ever I post it, it just shows me a white box where the video should be. What's up?
Jello - you need to use the youtube button on the Advanced reply form. In between the youtube tags, you only need to put in the info after the "=" in the youtube url
Yo Justin. Check it.

I had totally forgotten about this:
Awesome.
"The first time I heard the new single off the Bravery album, I actually cried, and I do not even remember the name of that damn song. It reminded me of this girl I am in love with." - kroqken
That's funny. I never saw that.
sweet! did you film that Jack? Ooah has dates lined up for sonic bloom here in colorado. Im really hoping Lorin joins him again this year.
jackstraw whos' that...cut chemist?
I fucking love Ted Leo, I cannot wait to see him in SFO March 2nd ...

cut chemist only wishes he sounded like that. That's actually Ooah (first half of the video in the near frame) vs. eDIT (second half, far side of ooah). They're west coast producers.
J-$$$ (Do I pronounce that "J-Money"? You think you're fukkin' big time?)
I didn't film that. It was from a show in LA on Friday.
Why do you have to hate a pocket change playa! Ill wine and dine your lady on some smoove bum wine, then cop a feel in the circle k parking lot.
im embed chanllenged, how do you post a youtube video...sorry, i know you guys have explained several times but i can't make it work...k, where do the brackets go before the url address?
I just went through this frustration too, until I realized how simple York's very good instruction was.
Start with the URL(not the embed code) from YouTube.
For example mine was:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_81l4DXlwM
All you need is the stuff after the v= which for me was:
p_81l4DXlwM
Then just select this text and click the YouTube button at the top of the advanced options.
I felt very stupid until I realized how the simplicity of it was what was throwing me.
